Tarot Affirmations are positive statements for shifting energy, centering ourselves, energizing our mojo. They help to improve our perspective, while encouraging confidence and productivity. The method is simple and can involve creative visualization (which I include the tarot) but you must be determined to put the effort in, to invigorate higher vibrations. Use meditative affirmations WHENEVER you need focus. A quiet spot where you are able to stay focused is suggested, in order to put your intent out into the Universe. Clear your mind, so that nothing interferes, be neutral in your thoughts and emotions. You may declare your personal statement. My suggestions are only examples to help guide you, but feel free to create your own methods of expression. I personally prefer to vocalize my affirmations out loud – but also very clearly – in order to ‘seal the verbal contract’ with the Universe. It is helpful to have your affirmation written down on a small post-it note and placed where you will see it several times a day, as a reminder to take a short moment and focus on your intent. Visualize and believe in what you are announcing. The more you work with your affirmation, the more you grow accustomed to your own style of what works best for you. Everyone is different, and there is no right or wrong. For beginners, it may take one to three weeks of repeating the oath to sense a shift. For the experienced it may take twenty-four hours or less! With the right approach, you will encounter the magic of will and assertion.Sit for a few minutes alone, with eyes closed and a goal to relax. Calm all thoughts and emotions until you are aware of the quietness that surrounds you. With slow and deep breaths, feel yourself float into this calm energy, feeling your body and mind also adjusting to the quietness. All noise disappears and you feel at peace. Pay attention to the soundless spirit, as you exist perfectly with the silence. Become one with the Ace of Wands.Like a new day that has greeted the world, the Leo New Moon in this case, opens a new opportunity to awaken our spirit. The seed that we plant in the back of our mind, is asked to come to life, and begins to take shape. It is our idea, our, creativity and our will, that enables it to take shape. Feed it with your inventive plans, using all of your personal senses.Once you have exhausted your thoughts, observe that you have become one with the seed. Engorge yourself with originality, bloated with a passion for life. Feel the tightness and lack of movement in your space. You only see darkness around you, but you crave to be released. Begin to push against the wall that is limiting you to expand. Continue to push against the confined area. Do what you need to do, to break the barrier. The shell is hard to crack. You become frustrated, because you are still encased. Nothing is working. Stop and rest for a few seconds. Be aware that you want nothing else but to grow, and realize that it is time to reach deep within yourself, with all your willpower and strength, to shatter the barricade once and for all. Immediately the light warms you, and a new life and the day dream begins. Enjoy this moment for yourself.
