Cosmic Dirt Horoscope: Saturday April 9, Swallowing the Vomit, Pluto Retrograde
Communications can produce healing energy as Sun conjuncts Mercury. What we think and express comes out crystal clear, with a potential to make us shine and make everything else look better too. But we need to remember that Mercury is still retrograde, giving us an opportunity to either correct errors or to fumble and create more misunderstandings. Management, meetings, speeches, learning, sales, socializing, and travel are favorable as Mercury and Sun come to save the day in heroic Aries. If we are untrue or too self-absorbed in our own gains, intentions will be clearly displayed.Sensitivities expand as Moon enters back into Cancer, her home of nurturing waters. We feel, we understand, we care, and we experience. It's favorable energy for staying close to home, domesticating ourselves, taking care of others, and displaying our softer side. Luna will trine reflective Neptune around dinner, intuition and imagination will allow senses to flow beautifully and magically. Creativity, music and romance will sweep us away. Our cravings can take a hard right this evening as a Moon/Uranus square increases agitation and restlessness. Our protective shell is a safe place to hide. It's time to press the pause button on our development, as Pluto stations and retrogrades into September. Pluto is the planet of death and rebirth, transforming the decay in our lives into renewal and spiritual healing. During this period, we'll be double-checking our most inner resources to figure out as to what we are growing away from. Where we have become restricted in out individual space and growth, this process will detach us from where we have learned to become comfortably stifled and numb. This can be a major life-altering experience for those who resist or ignore change, so it is advised to go with the flow. This transformation is compared to the caterpillar who thinks he is entering the cocoon for his death, eventually finding out that his living quarters are extremely binding, so he breaks free of the walls and obstacles that contain him -realizing that he was actually a beautiful butterfly who was waiting to grow and explore higher grounds.Perhaps you are already aware as to what isn't working for you anymore, but you may ignore it, avoid it, or you try to fix it, or work with it. As Pluto retrogrades, we turn into ourselves, and rather than thinking that we can fix the outside, we realize that we can only fix ourselves. So instead of releasing what isn't healthy (as the body needs to extract toxins), we choose to swallow and 'stomach it', to figure out what's REALLY making us ill, unhappy, frustrated, and confused. Saturn tightens his belt to find out who is dedicated when the going gets tough. Uranus is waking us to wher we have been paralyzed and 'sleeping' through. Neptune is the moisturizing lubrication to make the transition smoother, heightening our imagination, dreams, and spirituality. It's a life-altering experience because our comfort zone has decayed and isn't so safe anymore. Once that breaks, it is destroyed and we can't go back to it the way we use to, for the cocoon is in shreds and our wings are too big. With Pluto retrograde in Capricorn, we will re-dig the depths our own foundation in life, work, and relationships. For a bigger picture as an example, Capricorn rules governments, reputations, family traditions, education, careers, property, savings, homes, banks, businesses, and security ... so we see government breakdowns and shutdowns, changes in leaderships, big names and businesses being destroyed, loss of jobs, unemployment, careers falling apart, etc. What had been exhausted, imperfect, and wasted had to fall, to heal and rebirth.Pluto retrogrades through my third house of communications, siblings, information, and neighbors again. He's been cleaning up this area for many, many years now (sigh), as there had been many weaknesses, imperfections, and toxins to be released. I didn't concentrate on the facts at the time, as my Jupiter is too compassionate, believing that everyone makes mistakes and that we should all have a second chance to redeem ourselves from poor judgments. This is the house of learning, by looking at the facts. My new saying, 'it is, what it is'. Well, so much for understanding and tolerance, as I got burnt, not once but a few times for not acknowledging the reality and truth of it all. I had to learn a VERY hard lesson to 'see' but to also not believe and trust someone, just because you know them; friends, neighbors, siblings, and family. What I was taught to believe in my youth about trust and 'love thy neighbor' had failed me BIG time. I could see their faults and blind behavior clearly, and through my personal work, I can see my own 'fault'. Well...... I don't really see my 'fault' as truly genuine, because I really believe we should be able to love and trust one another, but shame on me LOL.Anyway, I think my third house has been wiped clean, and maybe Pluto retrograde will just dust old cobwebs away, and allow me to improve and grow as I need to. My painful experience was an opportunity to release what was unhealthy, for my potential to grow. All that I had learned and knew (thought-processing and communicating) about people in general was weak and destroyed by Pluto. As it all emptied out, I had nothing left to focus on except my work, so I read and learned more, digesting new information, and communicated with a whole new group of people.. and in result, my work, business, and finances continued to grow. I was determined to at least improve the way I communicate, which is how my horoscopes with daily writing came about. I have bravely published my words and country-pumpkin slang publicly (despite Pluto still messing with my head and voice), letting you all be my critics. In due time, the hurt that I had dealt with had slowly melted, revealing new confidence, self-respect and self-trust.So knowing some of my story, you may ponder about your own situation and Pluto rx, helping you to understand that we can not always go back to the way things use to be, because we aren't that person anymore. You may ask, well how might that work out? And I believe that it would depend on who actually worked just as hard on themselves to experience self-realization, self-improvement, and spiritual growth.
