Cosmic Dirt Horoscope: Tuesday February 22, Walk on Water, Mars in Pisces
We gently withdraw into ourselves as Moon slips quietly into Scorpio during the wee hours of the morning. Sensitivities desire to rise, and to protect ourselves, we remain behind the scenes and avoid the spotlight. Luna trines brawny Sun this morning, allowing harmony to exist between our emotions and ego. Around dinner Moon sextiles healing Pluto, we share vulnerabilities in a way to help others. Later, Mars makes another shift as he leaves intellectual Aquarius to enter starry-eyed Pisces for the next five weeks. We have four planets in the watery world of Pisces ~ Mars (energizer), Sun (leader), Uranus (reformer), Mercury (informer), along with Chiron (wounded healer). Pisces is the twelfth and last sign of the zodiac wheel before we start over, and as mentioned in yesterdays post, we are finishing a cycle. A spiritual shift is happening, allowing compassion, forgiveness and healing. Mars is the mover and shaker, and he's powering up the energy to make it happen. It's like the little fish who says 'I think I can, I think I can, I think I can'. Doors are closing, and we're making amends with others or with ourselves, as we adjust (or submit) to therapeutic assistance, in order to recycle the past. This is our last attempt to create magic with imagination and the cosmos. This is a walk on water, a spiritual movement, and trust in the unimaginable and miracles. On the shadow side of this energy, Pisces element is water, and combined with fiery Mars, things could really get steamy and hot - where we could drift away from the higher road, if duties seem too tough to tackle. This can bring passive aggressive behavior, manipulation, as well as deceit. But if we utilize the higher power of water ~ love and compassion ~ we can transform healing energy into our relationships, our work, and into our well-being. If you have your natal birth chart, you can look at what house these planets are creating this magnificent motion. For myself, I have been paying attention to this activity in my fifth house (creativity, love, my Chiron return) and my sixth house (house of service, health, work). Through my own personal growth, I've learned that I've given too much of myself to others, and through Chiron's healing process, my service to others has been balanced by creating healthy boundaries. Other than the way that we can be 'brainwashed' from childhood years, Jupiter, the ruler of my 'happy go lucky' Sagittarian, expands love generously from the heart (my Leo moon). Sagittarian's are fiercely honest, and they trust and believe that others are just as honest. You know, 'you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours'. Yes, obviously naive, but it's a Chiron thing. And as the rose-colored glasses were lifted from Sadge's co-ruler Neptune, painful experiences with loved ones changed my perspective about many things. Sad in ways, but mostly because we should be able to believe & trust in others, especially our closest relationships - but I trust that this was necessary if I am to continue the enlightened road toward truth. Anyway, I hope that by sharing a little of my own story may help someone to look within their own life experiences with a little self-awareness. I've been closing this door, and I'm excited about what lies ahead, especially with Uranus (inspirational, futuristic) and Jupiter (trust, fortune) waiting in my sixth. 'Have the courage to say no.
