Cosmic Dirt Horoscope: Wednesday, October 26, 2011, Accept Death to Accept Life, Scorpio New Moon

As Mars sextiles Saturn this morning, we're taking ourselves and our goals much more seriously, by making an effort and 'getting down to business'. Mars and Saturn have a great relationship, which only helps us to pursue and pave our way forward. The Moon/Neptune rx trine encourages us to flow toward our dreams, and in this case, we may be returning to a dream that we had forgotten about.Luna will leave the friendly skies of Libra, to nosedive into the deep, mystical waters of Scorpio. Our energy becomes more persistent, yet more self-protected. These are favorable vibrations for intense emotions, displaying our true power professionally and personally, eyeing our rewards to release obstacles, creating self-empowering changes. The Scorpio New Moon rises this afternoon, engaging powerful strength between our emotions and ego. New Moons allow us to form new emotional cycles in the way we approach and move through our journey. In Scorpio, we are connecting to our own inner resources as they begin to float to the surface. With, Moon, Sun, Secrets Revealed, Mercury, Words that Kill, and Venus, Hungry for Power all in Scorpio, the water element is flushing through our lives and through our soul. Be wise in what to keep, and what to let go, for this energy is powerfully transformative at this time. The month of October vibrates a number 10, which also speaks of metamorphosis, meaning we're closing doors, and opening new doors for ourselves. When we have the number 10, we add 1 + 0 = 1, it reduces and transforms back into number one again. We sacrifice what is necessary to purify our own be-ing.What can one do during the Scorpio New Moon? We can think about our goals and what we wish for. Then we utilize the transformative lunar energy to set our intentions. To attain, one must make a sacrifice. Scorpio is connected to blood and the kill, so although a painful cut-off is required, it is necessary for emotional survival. What would you be willing to let go, to feel in control again? To expand further on this, the practice of divination could involve burning a red candle to represent the blood, and the necessary release of emotional pain. The tarot card Death, symbolizes the energy of Scorpio and Pluto, displaying the hard truth that nothing lasts forever. Dying is a fact of life. It is neither good or bad, It just is. This particular card can be used to imagine and visualize our own butterfly experience…. leaving the safety of our cocoon, to spread our wings and follow our own individual truth and journey. Again, it is hard experience to leave behind, what we've become emotionally accustomed to, but in doing so, we bring ourselves back to life. It might help to make the process easier to understand, knowing that Scorpio rules the bladder and reproductive organs. Removing wasteful toxins is not only a natural process, but an important process. The reproductive organs allow for renewal to give life. What would you be willing to sacrifice, in order to transform into new life?Pluto is transiting through Capricorn, which rules foundations, homes, property, savings, tradition, elders, career, and reputation. What we have been building and thought of as 'solid', has major rot beneath the surface. Damage has developed, because of the assumption that everything lasts forever. There's a possibility that repair and maintenance may be to late. In regards to Pluto in Capricorn and changing the way we do business, check out my last article with Rebuilding America with Self-Employment.Later this evening, we will simply want it all, as Venus squares pushy Mars, Moon sextiles controlled Pluto, while opposing excessive Jupiter rx. Be careful of whose toes you are stepping on. “Sometimes you've got to let everything go - and purge yourself. If you are unhappy with anything... whatever is bringing you down... get rid of it. Because you'll find that when you're free, your true creativity, your true self comes out.” Tina Turner.
