Repairing Broken Fences | Saturn Retrograde, Mercury Retrograde

Saturn retrograde. We're temporarily stepping away from what has normally held us up; in order to get a better evaluation of the time and energy it has required of us. As we begin to shift back a bit, we'll be able to get a much broader view of all that's been built  - which we've been relying on.

With Saturn (duties, responsibilities) stationing retrograde on Thursday April 6, the next five months will cause some hesitation; which of course, can give us the extra time that we need to assess what has been flawed, weak and broken - in order to repair, restructure, redesign and rebuild.

With Venus (values, love, money) and Jupiter (abundance, expansion) also both retrograde, we'll have a better chance in recreating the support and strength that we're truly in search of.

Over the weeks ahead, Saturn will continue to place a heavy foot on the brakes, slowing down our persistence and productiveness. With a strategic plan, we can find another way, especially as powerful energy manifests in Thursday's Mars/Pluto trine - which can help us to weed, transform and rise. Then in another twist, direction will shift dramatically as shadows begin to appear with an overconfident Sun/Jupiter opposition on Friday April 7. And as situations start to get more real, insecurities will float to the surface with an uncomfortable Venus/Saturn square and a stormy Sun/Pluto square on Saturday April 8.

Mercury retrograde. Mercury (thoughts, communications, short journeys) will station retrograde on Sunday April 9 - so assessing what needs to be first approached and fixed might not be as easy as we first thought. Communications will get twisted during this three week cycle, which can cause unpleasant interferences and interruptions, that may result in misunderstandings and breakdowns in areas of verbal, written and digital communications, computers, mobile phones, appliances, vehicles and large machinery.

Under Mercury retrograde, it's a time to pause and back it up in reverse - so that we can review, refigure and re-communicate. As we shift backwards, we'll have an opportunity to remember, seeing what was ignored or completely overlooked, while also reconnecting with memories and those from our past. With the right approach, we can re-correct our direction again by simply re-adjusting the sails toward more friendlier waters.
