Shift Happens. Pluto enters Aquarius, Mars enters Cancer
Start-ups, fresh beginnings, a new seasonal cycle and a fresh astrological year are in the air, with the Spring Equinox, International Astrology Day, the Sun moving from Pisces into spirited Aries on Monday March 20 with a healing Sun/Pluto sextile, and a rowdy Aries New Moon on Tuesday March 21. So rather than hoping and wishing for fantasies to come true, it’s time to initiate real, brave action that helps us to get closer to our dreams. With Saturn (limitations, responsibilities, lessons) in imaginative Pisces, with the Sun (identity, ego) and Moon (emotions, creativity) in fierce Aries, we’ll be hungry and motivated to build life with confidence, enthusiasm, strong-will and spontaneity. If the low frequency of this flammable energy is chosen, frustrations and emptiness will be felt through our position of arrogance, intolerance, argumentativeness and aggression.
The purpose is to create your own heaven on earth. Justin Perry
As we attempt a new approach toward passionate living, transformative Pluto will exit from authoritative Capricorn (since 2008) on Thursday March 23, and move through humane Aquarius for the next two decades. Pluto holds the power to harm and/or heal; destroying and terminating what we’ve obsessively been holding onto and controlling - despite what has dried up, decayed and died - becoming toxic and unhealthy for our individual growth. While Pluto is associated with endings and death, it is also connected with transformation, resurrection, regeneration and rebirth.
Through intense probing and deep investigation, we have the potential to witness an inner truth being revealed. This new information should provide with us with a new understanding, that allows for forgiveness, empowerment, healing and wholesomeness. So if we can grasp the idea of moving through a dark tunnel before we can see any light - we may understand that we must move through the deep depths of Pluto’s darkness. As we investigate these inner places that we’ve not been to yet, we’re likely to get to the core, where the light can shine and cure the root of the dis-ease.
It is in the turmoil of chaos that we discover what, if anything, we are.” Orson Scott Card
As Pluto transits, investigates and transforms the realm of the freedom-seeking Aquarius (ruled by Uranus), we could see crisis, rebellions, major breakdowns, changes and/or future reform in areas that surround how we think and communicate, intelligence, individuality, authenticity, independence, astrology, ethics, altruism, the internet, friendships, social media, civil rights, world global connections, artificial intelligence AI, inventions, digitalization, electronics, technology, electricity, unidentified flying objects UFO, the air we breathe, birds, flying beings, anxiety, the nervous system, brain study, science, air travel, unstable skies, chaotic weather, tornadoes, lightning storms, glitch in the matrix, space discovery, our rise and our fall, how we extend our hands to help one another, faith, and the evolution of humanity.
We’ll need to go through the dark phase first, experiencing insensitivity and unpredictability as dirty secrets and the unknown are slowly uncovered. This gives us an opportunity to look into the light of situations, to gain insight into what isn’t working anymore - so that we may redesign, reinvent and heal on futuristic levels.
Inside each of us is a monster; inside each of us is a saint. The real question is which one we nurture the most, which one will smite the other. Jodi Picoult
Another shift that ‘s happening this week, is warrior Mars (drive, energy) moving from scattered Gemini (since August 2022), into protective Cancer on Saturday March 25. During the next six weeks, we’ll courageously create and move forward through compassion, nurturing, sensuality, domestication, intuitiveness, self-care, protecting emotional needs while providing security for our loved ones. The shadow side of this super-sensitive energy includes defensiveness, uncertainty, jealousy, moodiness and temper tantrums - which sidetrack us from our true intentions. Let’s embrace our softness, and lead with kindness.
