Where Are You Going | Aquarius New Moon, Mercury enters Aquarius, Year of the Dragon
Instead of trying to figure out how to mend, build and structure what we’ve been focused on… we’re about to cut ourselves free from heavy, consuming and burdening thoughts as Mercury (thoughts, communications, journeys) shifts from responsible Capricorn, and joins Sun (identity.ego) and Pluto (death, rejuvenation) in free-spirited Aquarius on Monday January 5.
We can discover fresh inspiration, positivity and helpful solutions during this three week cycle through open-mindedness, awareness, intuitive and being well-informed to incoming information that could prove to be abstract and out of our comfort zone. As we spread our wings on this new journey (physically and/or mentally); listen well while observing your surroundings. A different direction promises realizations and a new inner truth that will be found along the way.
The energy could be like a breath of fresh air for some, while quite flighty and spacey for others. Some questions that we might want to ask ourselves, “What am I breaking free from?’, ‘Where am I going?’, ‘Where do I see my final destination?’, ‘Where do I intend to land?’, ‘Where’s my support team when I’m struggling and tired?’. Or ‘am I just winging it all, and hoping for the best?’.
If we can’t think outside of our own beliefs, we could travel a shadowy path over the next few weeks with annoyance, emotional blindness, agitation, rebellion and overactive thoughts. Investigate where worn-out methods have kept us tangled with ancient issues. Work with what’s been puzzling you. Try some problem solving.

We also have an opportunity to find what we’ve been unusually hungry for under a reforming Aquarius New Moon, on Friday January 9. It’s helpful to be a good listener who is open, courteous, observant, detached and impartial. Collect information from a variety of different resources, which can allow incoming messages to connect with your soul.
Without participating with these energetic vibrations to create a better change - we can remain artificial, unpredictable, stubborn, icy, unresponsive and ultimately alone.
It’s a good week to stay flexible this week, in order to get where we’re going between a penetrating Mercury/Pluto conjunction on Monday February 5, an experimental Venus/Uranus trine and selfless Mars/Neptune sextile on Wednesday February 7, a disruptive Sun/Uranus square Thursday February 8 and a hopeful Mercury/Jupiter square on Saturday February 10; the Year of the Dragon. Utilize the altruistic New Moon/Uranus conjunction to think and dream about what you need to free yourself from. Make a wish, then get to work - because there’s actually a better way to resolve an issue. Chase curiosity, rediscover yourself and evolve toward a higher frequency. Breathe.
