Venus enters Cancer. The week begins to sway in what holds most importance as Venus exits from friendly Gemini on Monday July 31, to enter domestic Cancer. The taste for fresh air and outside connections will slowly become less desirable, as home and inner security begin to hold much more weight over the next four weeks. As Venus (values, love, money) transits through nurturing Cancer; memories, compassion, loyalty, sentiments, family, kindness, mothering, caring, protection, and holding onto to what truly matters - is what will keep our heart buoyant and safe through the rocky waves ahead.

Mercury in Virgo. With Mercury exiting creative Leo to enter analytical Virgo back on Tuesday July 25; thoughts, communications and short journeys have been quietly shifting - to find some sense of order. Without a genuine focus to declutter and organize all that we've been holding onto, some of us could easily fall prey to Mercury's shadow; where worry, anxiety, insomnia, assumptions and misunderstandings can be found.

Mars and Sun in Leo. If some of us can understand some of the vibrations that are happening right now, we may want to ponder and question ourselves with 'what am I REALLY being drawn to right now?' and 'how will I approach what challenges me, and not lose focus of my goal'? I find that these are important questions, especially since we've entered a fiery road when daring Mars and powerful Sun moved from fragile Cancer, and into courageous Leo last week. While the weeks ahead may prove to be highly flammable, we may want to recognize the ignited passion as well - as we're led onto a path toward transformation. There will be an opportunity to experience brand new truths, higher wisdom and improved confidence. Some may not be ready for the new level of frequency just yet; choosing to move two steps back. But with these magnificent gifts in our hands, we can either burn what's left of the bridges we've been following, or instead; we could light ourselves on fire.

As some attempt to play with fire, assumptions will be made; believing this activity is fun and easy. Those who are inexperienced with walking over hot coals will find out differently of course... especially when the brakes are applied with Saturn retrograde. We'll be forced to stand longer in the heat - where untamed flames can really get out of control. And standing there, is where we'll REALLY get to feel the burn; which can help us learn about respect, responsibility and self-discipline. And once that burn begins - there will be no way to turn back time - so be sure to plan accordingly.
Uranus Retrograde. We'll also experience a pause regarding outer changes as Uranus (awakenings, truth, change) stations retrograde on Thursday August 3. This self-discovery cycle will continue for the rest of the year. If we're aware and paying attention, new insights and inspirations will appear as promised; helping us to embrace our own original authenticity. And as we evolve and become more true to ourselves, limitations will be less; allowing us to shift our path again.
